Asante Kotoko are on the verge of signing Nigerien midfielder Souleymane Dela Sacko.
According to media reports, the Porcupine Warriors have reached an agreement with the midfielder’s club, AS Mangasport over a possible deal.
The 31-year-old is reported to have touched down in Ghana a few days ago to finalize talks with the Kumasi-based outfit.
He captained the local-based senior national team of Niger to the last edition of the WAFU Cup held in Ghana last year.
Sacko will become the third foreign player in the books of the Porcupine Warriors after talisman Songne Yacouba and Mohammed Sylla.
He made six appearances for Niger during the 2017 WAFU Cup where he was included in the tournament best team.
