Hearts of Oak midfielder, Emmanuel Nettey believes he has the qualities to earn a call-up to the senior national team.
The former Inter Allies player is yet to receive an invitation to play for the Black Stars despite, his impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League over the years.
Injuries, among other things have been an obstacle to Nettey this season and he plans on improving himself to stand a chance of featuring for the Black Stars soon.
“I am capable of making it to the Black Stars squad if only injuries don’t set in like they did this season.” He said.
“However I believe there are things in my game that I am going to manage and improve on.
“Probably there are things I am not doing right which is why I’m no getting invited but I am very capable on making it to this current Black Stars squad.”
The next Black Stars assignment is the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the 2022 AFCON tournament.
