The goal can be likened to that which won Colombia’s James Rodriguez the award back in 2014 against Uruguay.
The attacking player picked a long pass from Nasiru Moro, controlled the ball graciously with his chest, turned before hitting the ball with precision, giving the Bechem United goalkeeper no chance.
The Legon Cities player used his right foot, as opposed to James’ left, but other than that, the goals look pretty much the same.
The goal was not enough to hand Bashir Hayford’s men all three points as they shared the spoils with Bechem United, drawing 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
