Newly appointed Youth and Sports minister, Mustafa Yusif in his response to the Starr FM Sports story on the current state of the Winneba Sports college after years of neglect indicates he will brief the media of his plans for the facility when he is ready and that he has nothing to say on that at the moment.
The Starr Sports team recently reported on the current State of the National Sports college at Winneba which in recent times has been converted into a Guest House and a hostel due to Governments neglect of the facility over the years.
The edifice has over the years not seen any renovation works hence loosing it’s relevance.
The Starr Sports team were granted audience by the Sports Minister Mustafa Yusif in an attempt to find answers on plans for the facility as the country prepares to host the 2023 All Africa games.
The minister however told the team that he will let the media know of his plans for the facility at the Appropriate time. “ I don’t have anything to say to you on the facility now, When I am ready, I will inform the media about my plans for the Winneba Sports College. I can’t say anything to you.” He told the Starr Sports team.
